SVC Test Streams

Scalable Video Coding (SVC) is a great improvement of H.264 encoding to enable to decompose a video in several layers, to target different devices (mobile, SDTV, HDTV...) and/or different types of end-users (indoor, outdoor, in car, pedestrian, etc.).

AccepTV proposes a set of SVC Test Streams. Each test stream is available in serveral formats: .264 (Elementary Stream), .ts (MPEG-2 Transport Stream) and .mp4 (MPEG-4 container).

These streams enable to test the functionalities of SVC decoders or Set-Top Boxes.

But these streams also permit to perform interoperability tests of H.264/AVC decoders (or Set-Top Boxes) since these decoders should normally be able to decode the base layer.

Each stream has a duration of about 2 minutes.
